The use of both qualitative and quantitative
research methods provides our clients with a multidimensional
understanding of the outcome of our investigation. The
outcomes are not only viewed for their numerical significance
but are also examined from the standpoint of their descriptive
characterizations.
For
all research contracts, TJ and Consultants uses only well
trained and thoroughly experienced professionals to act
as the Principal Investigators. The following framework
is systematically employed in the conduct of our research
programs:
- Exploration
of the client issues in order to arrive at a highly
focused series of questions.
- Development
of an instrument which will state the issues with clarity
and precision.
- Field
testing of the process prior to actual data collection.
- Painstaking
selection and careful training of interviewers or data
collectors.
- Preparation
of a code book and automation procedures for data entry.
(When the sample to be interviewed is over
500, the firm uses a data entry house which will use
the codes).
- Direct
supervision of field interviews and "cleaning"
of the data.
- Evaluation,
Analysis and Interpretation of the raw data.
- Organization
of results into a textual and graphical format.
- Formulation
of the final research/evaluation report.
